Overview

MMP Music Player is an Android music app. This page describes the information the app and this website handle, what it is used for, and the choices you have.

What we collect

There is no sign-up. The app never asks for your name, email address or contacts. Your music, playlists and preferences stay on your phone and are not sent to us.

Technical information

To check for updates and to report crashes, the app talks to our servers. Every such request includes the IP address of your device. A crash report also includes your phone model, Android version, app version and what the app was doing at the time. We use this only to keep the service running and to fix problems; we do not build profiles from it and we do not sell it.

Ads and ad partners

The app is free because it shows ads. Ads are arranged by CAS.AI (Clever Ads Solutions), which chooses an advertising network for each ad. CAS.AI and these networks may receive your advertising ID, IP address, device and system details, an approximate location based on your IP address, and your interactions with ads. They use it to pick ads, cap how often you see the same one, and measure results. Each network below is a separate company with its own policy:

Your choices

You can reset or delete your advertising ID whenever you like in your phone's settings (look under Privacy or Ads); once deleted, it can no longer be used to personalise ads. Where the law requires consent, the app asks for it before showing personalised ads and passes your answer on to the networks.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. The app itself does not use cookies, although libraries from third parties inside it may use them for their own services.

Who else sees data

Apart from the ad partners listed above, our hosting and network providers carry traffic between the app and our servers and therefore see the IP address it comes from. They may handle it only to provide that service.

Keeping data safe

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect information, but no transmission or storage method is perfectly secure.

Links in the app or on this site may take you to pages we do not run. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Children's privacy

MMP Music Player is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Anything we learn was provided by a child is deleted.

Updates to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version is published here and applies from that date.
